What this tool is

BudgetBuilder is a first-pass production budget tool. It calculates budget estimates based on parameters you enter and reference rate schedules it maintains. Every rate either cites a published source or says "enter your rate". The output is a starting point whose assumptions are visible — it is not a quote, a bid, or a financing document.

No warranty

This tool is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The budget figures are estimates only. They are not guaranteed to match actual production costs, union scale minimums, or any specific jurisdiction's rates. You are responsible for verifying every line item before using it in any production plan or financing package.

Rate schedules

Default rates in the tool come from published schedules (e.g., IATSE, MPEG) with their effective dates cited alongside each rate. These schedules may be outdated by the time you read them. Always verify current rates with the issuing body. For roles without a published default rate, the field displays "enter your rate" — no invented number is substituted.

No accounts, no data storage

BudgetBuilder does not offer user accounts, logins, or any form of persistent data storage. Production parameters you enter are transmitted to our API for calculation only and are not stored server-side. No personal information is collected. There is no saved history, no shared budgets, and no cross-device sync.

Billing and subscriptions

BudgetBuilder offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. This section describes the terms that apply to paid Pro subscriptions and the billing process.

What you pay

The Pro subscription is priced at $5 per month, as stated on the Pricing page. This price applies to individual users only. The exact features included in the Pro tier are described on the Pricing page and may change over time as the product evolves.

Billing period

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your first payment is due at the start of the billing period. Each subsequent payment is charged on the same calendar day of the following month. If that day does not exist in a month (e.g., the 31st of February), the charge occurs on the last day of that month.

Payment method

Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We accept major credit and debit cards supported by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on BudgetBuilder servers. BudgetBuilder does not see or retain full card numbers.

Failed payments

If a subscription payment fails (e.g., card declined, expired, or insufficient funds), Stripe will automatically retry the charge. The retry schedule is managed by Stripe and typically involves up to three attempts over several days. You will receive an email at the address you provided during checkout notifying you of the failed payment and each retry attempt. If payment cannot be collected after the retry period, your Pro subscription will be suspended until a successful payment is completed. Suspension means you lose access to Pro features but your account is not deleted; you can update your payment method and resume the subscription at any time.

Refund policy

Because BudgetBuilder does not store user data or offer persistent accounts, and because the Pro features are immediately available once payment is processed, all subscription payments are non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Pro features you paid for, contact us at budgetbuilderai@agen2ic.ai and we will review the issue. Refunds are granted at the operator's discretion on a case-by-case basis. There are no partial refunds for partial months.

Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until that date. No further payments will be charged after cancellation. If you cancel before the end of a billing period, you will not receive a refund for the remaining days of that period.

No email, no alerts

This tool has no email sending capability. It cannot send you a budget by email, notify you of changes, or deliver alerts. No email address or contact information is requested or stored.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of BudgetBuilder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this tool. Because no legal entity has been registered, no party can be held liable under these terms until such entity exists.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. No notification of changes will be sent because this tool has no way to contact its users.

Governing law

No governing law or jurisdiction is specified because no legal entity or registered address exists. The operator must supply this information before these terms can specify a governing law.
